The Shigeuchi style weaving sageo is also called "Shigekumi", both names meaning simply "thick". This type of sageo was widely used during the Tensho era (1573 - 1592).

This high-end cotton Sageo stands out not only because of its pattern, but also because of its tight and thick Shigeuchi style weaving, that ensures long lasting quality.

Available in 15 traditional checked patterns/colors. Fits well with any type of Iaito and Shinken (Katana).
