2017 is the year of the rooster (or the bird in general), symbol of patience and perseverance, and that is what we wish you for your personal research and progress in this year.

At Seido, the year 2016 was extremely busy. An increase in the number of orders on one hand, but above all, many events in which we participated. 2017 may be less packed with happenings, but we work on numerous projects, so subscribe and follow us on social networks to keep updated!

Every year we witness the declining of Japanese craft's activity, a decrease in the production, and also the natural resources. However, over the last few years we could also see how some amazing initiatives started to develop and practitioners being more and more understanding and supportive. The outlook is tough, but not without hopes. With you on our side, we will continue to fight for the preservation and evolution of Japanese craft traditions.
