Ryu - C035
This made in Japan Kojiri features a dragon crawling under auspicious clouds. In Buddhism, the Dragon is the protector of the divine law. Dragons are sometimes seen as gods or very powerful beings able to bring various kinds of good and evil on earth (rain, thunder, etc.). The Dragon is one of the most popular mythical beast and as such, is tied to a enormous number of myths and legends of all kinds. It’s a symbol of great power, wisdom, and success, and is said to bring strength, luck, and fortune and often associated with the sea. It is believed that dragons appear through a wide gathering of clouds, so this design could simply refer to the appearance of a good dragon, descending on earth to bring positive things.

The Ryu - C035 has a matching Zuiun ni Ryu (Tsuka fitting).
