Well packaged to protect the wooden box and its's contents. Arrived promptly with the rest of the order. Comparable price with other websites bearing in mind the free delivery but reassuring and nice to know all produced in Japan. Unsure of the use for a small plastic empty sealable pot. A quick email and all explained so good customer service too.

I’m very satisfied with both the packaging and shipping time. The kit itself is nice with a sturdy cardboard box. The maintenance kit was packed with an extreme amount of care! The package shipped quickly and I received it much faster than I expected. Seido has done a fantastic job and will be my “go to” place for ordering.

Très joli kit de nettoyage livré dan sa boite en bois. C'est vrai qu'une notice d'explication serait utile mais les informations sont facilement disponibles sur le net
Coté livraison : produit venant du Japon Livré dans les temps par Fed Ex. Seul bémol, vous avez intérêt d'être à la maison lors de la livraison car Fed Ex pour "Toulon" ne dispose pas de point relais. Le livreur c'est néanmoins déplacé vers mon lieu de travail (merci à lui) car sinon le produit repartait vers un centre situé à 50 km de Toulon.

Received the iaito maintenance kit. The packing was an adventure in itself. Impossible something would break, spoil or shift in transport. Great care is always taken by Seido in shipping, but this was unseen. Excellent.
Inside was a beautiful little wooden box with the different items equally nicely displayed inside. It will be a pleasure to open it everytime when maintenance is needed and in between the closed box is a pleasure to watch as well.

I bought this along with my iaito. I got the card box rather than the wood, but it seems sturdy and servicable. Everything fits nicely inside of it and there is a good amount of nuguigami, enough to last a long time. The choji oil was really tightly packaged too, so it wouldn't leak in transit and comes with a little plug under the cap to stop leakage just in everyday use. The uchiko and uchiko powder isn't really needed since I'm using an alloy blade, but are a nice thing to have for when I do get a live blade someday. Lastly, the box was really well packaged, wrapped in so many layers of bubble-wrap that I thought it was just packaging to keep the other products from slipping in the box. Lovely little product in a lovely little box.
