Suigetsu, "water and moon", is an important duality in martial arts, related to the state of Mushin (empty mind):
The moon’s reflection (opponent's intents) is clear only when the water is perfectly still, like a mirror. If there are ripples on the water surface, the moon’s reflection gets distorted. Mushin is a state of mind devoid of ripples (thoughts), which gives you total clarity on the fight and the opponent.
The word Suigetsu is also used in some martial arts traditions to refer to the opponent's solar plexus, as a target.
Fuh-mi has studied calligraphy, poetry, and ikebana (Japanese floral art) since childhood. She is a Japanese calligrapher who mainly works in the field of contemporary art.
She claims a style freed from tradition and does not hesitate to offer extremely colorful pop works or perform vertically to obtain dripping effects close to street art.
She has agreed to return to more classic calligraphy for this special collaboration with Seido while retaining certain freedom in the balance of lines and composition.

This Kakejiku is a "Sandanhyoso Kakejiku": Divided the same way as Maruhyoso, it differentiates by the "Ichimonji" at both the top and bottom of the calligraphy itself. Ichimonji simply means "straight line" and usually refers to a straight strip decorated with a traditional pattern. The Ichimonji part is made of a different fabric.
