Jacket Option - Chest & Hips Cord
- A set of cords to secure the jacket during practice, at the level of the chest and/or hips.
- The chest cord (Mune Himo) at the upper part of the collar is especially recommended to women.
- The hips cord (Koshi Himo) is added on the inside and completely hidden, therefore appreciated by both, men and women.

Jacket Option - Magic Tape
- A set of Velcro tape to secure the jacket during practice, at the level of the chest and/or hips.
- This option was often requested by customers and is a modern take on of the classic chest cord.
- We still recommend the classic cord option, because it is more adaptable it keeps the jacket better in place.

Jacket Alteration - Sleeves Cut
- Adjust the fit by shortening the sleeves of your jacket.
- The length that is chosen in the selector is the length you want to shorten (cut off) on each sleeve. On average, customers demand a shortening of 6 to 12 cm. Refer to the size chart of each Dogi to know the precise length of the sleeves, but do not forget to take shrinkage into account (about 2 cm).
- This is a good option, if you like a larger cut (or an overall larger size) but still prefer shorter sleeves.

Pants Option - Elastic Waistband
- Elastic waistband added to the cotton cord.
- You still have the traditional cord the pants come with, but we add an elastic so the pants stay in place even if the cord loosens during practice. Please provide your waist circumference so we can adapt the length of the elastic.
- Especially recommended to beginners or those who do not wear a Hakama.

Pants Alteration - Length Cut
- Adjust the fit of your Dogi by shortening the pants.
- The length that is chosen in the selector is the length you want to shorten (cut off) on each trouser leg. Refer to the size chart of each Dogi to know the precise length of the pants, but do not forget to take shrinkage into account (about 2 cm).
- Recommended by the Seido Team, if you wear a Hakama and do not want your pants to be visible underneath.

Seido Tenugui - Seishin Itto Nanigoto ka Narazaran
Made in Japan
This traditional Tenugui (Japanese hand towel) can be used as such in Kendo, Nippon Kempo or Jukendo but also as small towel to wipe off sweat during practice.
In the center is the logo of the Seido brand, the Kanji "Do" or "Michi", found in Aikido, Judo, Karatedo etc. which means "way".
Roughly translated as "where there is a will, there is a way", this well known proverb "Seishin Itto Nanigoto Ka Narazaran" means more precisely "when the mind is concentrated, nothing is impossible".
Please hand-wash in cold water before first use.

Dogi & Hakama Sashiko Bag

Material: 100% Unbleached Sashiko Cotton
Dimensions: 43 cm x 55 cm (rope length is about 195 cm in total).
Embroidery color: 18 colors to chose from (the same color applies for both the kanji main design and the name option).
Name option: Name embroidery at the bottom of the bag (see product pictures)
This cotton bag can fit a dogi, hakama, belt and towel. The ropes and port on the back are thick and comfortable. For optimal quality, Seido logo, Aikido calligraphy, "Ki" calligraphy and all other designs are not printed but embroidered. Made 100% from japanese made unbleached sashiko cotton, this product is eco friendly.

Here are all the designs we offer and their meaning:
- The Seido embroidery is based on the Seido label attached to all Seido equipments.
- The Aikido embroidery is based on a calligraphy found in the main dojo of Aikikai Hombu Dojo. It was created by Morihei Ueshiba O-Sensei when he was 80 years old, a period in his life when his calligraphy reached its peak. Note that the depth and extension of ideograms are a sign of an open mind.
- The "Ki' embroidery is based on the same calligraphy as the "Aikido embroidery" but only contains the second kanji "Ki".
- Judo - Gyoshotai (cursive font)
- Karatedo - Gyoshotai (cursive font)
- Kendo - Gyoshotai (cursive font)
- Iaido - Gyoshotai (cursive font)
- Jujutsu - Gyoshotai (cursive font)
- Zanshin - Gyoshotai (cursive font) : Remaining mind, or lingering mind.
- Mushin - Gyoshotai (cursive font) : No mind (mental state), or mind without mind.
- Heijoshin - Gyoshotai (cursive font) : Calm, imperturbable, relaxed heart/mind
- Shingitai - Gyoshotai (cursive font) : The unification of mind, skills and body.
- Takemusu Aiki - Gyoshotai (cursive font) : Aikido concept, the unity of martial techniques through the concept of Aiki.
Option "Name Embroidery":
Optionally, you can add your name as embroidery. It will be embroidered on the left of the bottom part (same high as the Seido label), with a font size of 2 cm by 2 cm.
Please note that due to our technical settings and to improve the overall balance, it is only possible to embroider either a first name, a last name or a word (1 word).

Aikido Embroidered Face Towel

This white towel embroidered with the Aikido kanji, romaji or with the Seido logo, is 100% cotton with a weight of 100 g. Especially designed for absorbing perspiration during sport practice, it is strong, durable, and soft to the skin.
With its special size adapted for wiping the face, this towel folds easily for storage in the keikogi or can just as easily be worn around the neck.
- Embroidery design # 1: Aikido kanji with the traditionnal embroidery font Kaishotai.
- Embroidery design # 2 is made directly based on a calligraphy found in the main dojo of Aikikai Hombu Dojo. Shape: "Traditional Aikido Cut"
The double thickness WA600 aikidogi has double stitching on all its seams. Ultra durable, this model is the strongest in the catalog.
With an emphasis on robustness, this model is designed with a central vertical back seam. Although thicker, heavier, and with stronger seams, this model was treated with a natural softening solution, which makes it "softer" than the WA300 model.The fabric used is also slightly thicker than that of the WA300 model, even though the difference in weight for a size 4 is only 100 g (2.3 kg and 2.4 kg for WA300 and WA600, respectively).
Standard size are available in stock, but size A and B are made to order, which allows us to provide up to 17 different sizes!
- A size corresponds to an adjusted fit , L to a long, and B to a large.
For more information regarding size, please refer to the size chart in the section "height/weight ratio".It is composed of a classic double-weaved "sashiko" (rice grain) on the upper part, and a hishisashi (diamonds) weaving on the lower part of the jacket. All seams are doubled.
The super soft aikido pants, double thickness, 100% high quality cotton, with all seams double-stitched are based on the same design as the deluxe model (reinforced from thigh to ankle). With double stitching, this model is the strongest in our catalog.
Fully made in Japan (cotton, garment, cut and sewing). This model is pre-shrunk, treated for anti bacterial properties, and benefits from the Biotech technology. This technology for the treatment of a natural cotton is exclusive to our workshop and makes it ultra flexible and ultra soft.
This product consists of a jacket and pants set and does not contain the obi (belt). The jacket and pants are also sold separately.
